Our Facility and Technology

Our office is both a dental practice and a state-of-the-art dental surgical facility located conveniently in city of Ashburn in Loudoun County of Northern Virginia. Ashburn Dental Group is one of the few facilities in Northern Virginia which pairs the spectrum of hospital anesthesia including general anesthesia (“Deep Sleep” or “Total Sleep”), with the personal, comfortable and convenient office setting.

In addition, Ashburn Dental Group has the ability to offer this level of care at a small fraction of the price that you would pay at the ambulatory surgical center or hospital. This is because we specialize only in dentistry and do not provide any other medical procedures. Since our operating rooms are in house, patients can be seen without the inconvenience of waiting months to be placed on the schedule at the hospital or local ambulatory surgical center.

Cone Beam Computerized Tomography

Our CBCT Machine, OP3D by KaVo produces high resolution, 3-D images for use in diagnostics, Airway assessment and planning the precise placement of dental implants.

The KaVo OP3D has won the German Innovation Award in 2018, which represents an externally recognized sign of innovation and quality.

Digital Impressions

Say goodbye to messy dental impressions!

The TRIOS Scanner is one more way we ensure you have the best quality dental care. Traditionally, dental impressions have required that we take a physical impression of your mouth that is then sent to a lab to create your crowns, appliances, and clear aligners. This process can be uncomfortable to some and just plain messy. With the TRIOS scanner, we are able to scan the teeth and email the “impression” to our lab digitally!

General Anesthesia Machine

Our office has state of the art GE Aestiva/5 General Anesthesia Machine used by our Medical Anesthesiologists to provide safe General Anesthesia for dental procedures. The GE Aestiva/5 is an anesthesia machine ideal for the dental operating room.

Digital X-Rays

Digital x-rays have two distinct advantages: They use much lower radiation, this means you are exposed to less radiation, and they can be manipulated using software on a computer. We use this technology when taking x-rays, reducing radiation exposure and enabling us to keep a digitized record of your oral health.

Intra-Oral Camera

Intraoral cameras (IOCs) are cameras used by us to show you the interior of your mouth, as an alternative to using a mirror. Images can be saved to your file for future reference A chair-side screen can display the digital images of all surfaces of your teeth and gums for use in diagnosing concerns early and monitoring your dental health.
